Over the years kitchens begin to look old due to wear-and-tear, grease, and colour chips. So instead of changing the entire kitchen, our experienced team will go over a series of steps (explained at consultation) to bring your kitchen back to new, for a fraction of the cost of getting it re-done.

We will degrease each cabinet, door, drawer-front, and any other wood product in the kitchen (panels, kick plates…). Then sealer-sand, apply minor repairs, and spraying a high-quality clear low VOC wood coating. Transforming the kitchen to looking new, while adding value to the home-owners kitchen.

Toning your kitchen cabinets will make your existing cabinets look darker, giving them a rich/new look. Our shifting process is a multicoated process by spraying semi-transparent coats to reach the customers desired darker colour.

The process for our Kitchen Refinishing, service is as follows,

1. Consultation: providing a quote, discussing colours, booking a date.
2. Onsite Work: removing all doors & drawer fronts (to be taken to our workshop), prepping your kitchen – ensuring everything that isn’t being sprayed is covered; while then prepping and finishing anything fixed onsite (side panels, kick plates, trims, etc…).
3. Workshop Work: we will begin by (A) degreasing all your cabinet doors and drawer-fronts with a industrial-grade product, (B) sealer-sanding each item to be refinished, ensuring there is an adhesive surface for the finish to stick to, (C) spray prime using a heavy duty primer, (D) spray finish to colour and sheen of your choice.
4. Installation: once doors/drawer-fronts are finished we will book a date to install them.

Total process taking roughly 7 days, depending on size and details of kitchen.

Thermofoil removal is necessary when the thermofoil is peeling/chipping on the edges of the cabinets and exposing the MDF. As, MDF is not moisture resistant and if not protected it will expand/bubble over time.

Thermofoil Removal Process: 

(1) Removal of doors/drawer-fronts,

(2) Same day as removal we will prep./refinish the fixed side panels & trim,

(3) Doors/drawer-fronts taken to our shop and thermofoil is removed using a heating technique, ensuring the MDF is in great condition. Then we will spray prime and spray finish them to the desired colour and sheen;

(4) Once finished we will come install the finished doors.drawer-fronts.
